John Mininno
John Mininno founded the Mininno Law Office in January 2005 when he remodeled the old white mansion at 475 White Horse Pike and started the firm. Previously, John was the Senior Litigation Partner at the well known Cahill, Wilinski and Rhodes law firm. He also served as Municipal Prosecutor for towns of Collingswood and Audubon. Throughout his career, John has focused on personal injury and medical malpractice.
John's trial preparation includes conducting comprehensive mock jury trials, employing innovative trial strategies and working with the country's top trial consultants.
He has twice attend the "Ultimate Trial Advocacy Course: The Art of Persuasion" given at the Harvard Law School. This course is open to only select members of the national plaintiff's bar.
John's trial results speak for themselves. He was awarded one of the biggest verdicts in Camden County history, $7.2 million, for a personal injury electrocution case. John's medical malpractice jury verdict in Camden County last fall, is one of the highest in the last several years. A verdict this past summer in Philadelphia was also one of the highest of its kind in that venue in recent history. John has successfully litigated hundreds of cases in both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts.
John's peers have recognized his trial skills. Martindale-Hubbell has given him an AV Peer Review Rating demonstrating that peers recognize him for his skills, integrity and professional excellence. John is also a Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as Civil Trial Lawyer, a distinction held by less than 3% of all lawyers in New Jersey.
Prior to going to law school, John received his BS from West Chester University. While there, John played linebacker for the perennial division II powerhouse Rams. From 1983-1985 he started every game of his college career. His name still appears next to several of the school's defensive records.
John went to law school at Rutgers University-Camden. He graduated with honors in 1993 and began the practice of law.
John lives with his wife, Kathleen Covert-Mininno, Esq., and their three young children, Megan, Maddie and Tyler, in Collingswood, NJ.
