On April 21, 2010, Mr. Marcus Rayner, the executive director of the New Jersey Lawsuit Reform Alliance, wrote an article on tort reform that was published by the Bergen Record. The article makes claims that New Jersey is in dire need for tort reform, that lawsuits in the state have gotten out of hand, and that large businesses and corporations need to be protected. The NJLRA aims to reform our tort system, to make it harder for consumers to receive due compensation in the case of a defective product, medical malpractice, fraud, nursing home abuse.
