Yamaha Rhino-- The Most Dangerous ATV on the Market

Yamaha RhinoDefective Design

Due to its defective design, the Yamaha Rhino has been responsible for thousands of injuries nationwide.  Unlike other ATV's, the Rhino's design is top heavy and narrow with small tires.  This disproportionate design causes the Rhino to rollover during turns, even at low speeds and on flat surfaces. The original design was also manufactured without doors, causing very little protection for the legs and arms in the event of an accident.

Injuries Associated With Rhino Accidents

Drivers and passengers alike have suffered from broken bones, crushed limbs and damaged organs. Children have even been crushed to death following a rollover.  Most people involved in Yamaha Rhino ATV accidents require multiple surgeries, months of physical therapy and sometimes amputation of the affected limb(s).

Yamaha Realizes They Have a Problem

In August 2007, Yamaha addressed this deadly design defect by offering to install doors on all Rhinos produced since 2004 free of charge.  New warning labels were also issued addressing the possibility of rollovers and the importance of keeping extremities inside the ATV.  Unfortunately, these changes were too late for thousands of people permanently disabled as a result of the Rhino's defective design.
