Nursing Home Abuse a Growing Trend

The Hampton Roads News recently published an article discussing the results of a study on nursing home abuse. The study asserts that elderly citizens are being abused more than ever before. Study results are only helping the fight to improve nursing home and long term facility care.   Within the study are statistics that illustrate a 9 percent rise in reported cases of nursing home abuse from 2008-2009. From 2007-2009, reports rose 19 percent.
