Sexual nursing home and elder abuse is one of the most disgraceful forms that nursing home abuse lawyers face. To abuse their power and take advantage of a vulnerable elderly person in that way is shameful. Kevin Burns was sentenced to nine years in prison on September 13, 2011 after pleading guilty to raping an elderly woman in the Friend’s Care Nursing Home in Yellow Springs, Ohio, where she was a resident and he was working. Medical Malpractice and Sexual Abuse Allegations Drive Doctor to Suicide

On February 18th of this year, Dr. Melvin Levine, a pediatrician who worked at Children's Hospital Boston, was found dead, by a gunshot wound to the head, in the woods surrounding his North Carolina home. The death came a day after a class action lawsuit was filed against him for medical malpractice and sexual abuse of at least 40 male patients in the years between 1966 and 1985.
